Dr. Lindsay Kang was an engineering professor at Hudson University and a former scientist for Mercury Labs. Lindsay worked at Mercury Labs along with Brie Larvan and Bill Carlisle. After she and the latter realized that Larvan was developing her robotics for military applications, they reported her to Tina McGee and she was fired. Lindsay eventually left Mercury Labs and moved to a position as an engineering professor for the Applied Physics & Robotics division of Hudson University. In April of 2015, Larvan targeted Kang with her robotic bees, injecting her with apitoxin and killing her.

Bill Carlisle was an employee of Folston Tech and former scientist of Mercury Labs. Bill Carlisle was born in Central City on October 15, 1989. Bill worked at Mercury Labs along with Brie Larvan and Lindsay Kang. After he and the latter realized that Larvan was developing her robotics for military application, they reported her to Tina McGee and she was fired. Sometime later, Larvan targeted Carlisle with her robotic bees at his new job at Folston Tech, injecting him with apitoxin and killing him.
