Anne Queen was a pirate in Blackbeard's crew, and the infamous pirate's lover. In 1717, while burying treasure on Grace Island in the Bahamas, Blackbeard presented it to Anne Queen. However, the totem began taking over her, causing him to shoot her in the head, temporarily stopping her. He buried the totem and his lover along with the treasure. Not long after, Anne and the totem were dug up by Damien Darhk and his naval forces. Anne was seemingly resurrected by the totem, fighting off all of her attackers, before her neck was snapped by Damien.

Abilities

• Earth Totem : Anne's powers came from the totem which allowed her to control the earth.
  • Plant manipulation : The totem allows its user to control plant life, particularly vines, using them offensively.

Edward Teach was a 17th century pirate. During an expedition, Blackbeard and his crew came across the Earth Totem, which he gave to his true love, Anne Queen. However, the totem overtook her and Teach was forced to put her down. He later tries to take over the Waverider but is stopped by Sara Lance and Ava Sharpe.

Abilities

• Expert swordsman : Blackbeard is a capable swordsman as he fended off Amaya Jiwe rather easily and even managed to disarm her, after firing a gunshot. Though he was easily beaten when Amaya was given a new sword by Nate Heywood and fled after being disarmed himself.
• Marksmanship : Blackbeard knows how to handle a pistol and even used one on Amaya during their fight, with the distraction causing him to disarm her of her sword.
