During his time with the project, he co-wrote an 800-page paper with Professor Martin Stein regarding it. Jason Rusch was a part of the F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. project with Professor Martin Stein, during which time he co-wrote an 800-page research paper with Stein and posted it online. However, after Stein's disappearance, F.I.R.E.S.T.O.R.M. was confiscated of all of its research by the army. Following the ordeal, Jason became paranoid. Jason mailed in a résumé to S.T.A.R. Labs and Mercury Labs, eventually being given a job at the latter.
