Publication Information Gao Priestess Murasaki was Tetomu's great-grandmother who served as the Gao Shaman and mentor to the original Gaoranger team. She used to sing with Shirogane but was forced to stop when they were attacked by Orgettes and her throat was injured.

Publication Information Gao Priestess Tetomu is the 1,022-year-old Gao Shaman of the Animarium who serves as mentor to the current Gaoranger team, succeeding the role from her great-grandmother, Murasaki. She lives in Gao Rock and lies dormant within the holy spring when there is no mission. She has an abnormal ability to power electronics with only her touch. Her singing calms the Power Animals, and she regularly performs Murasaki's song with Shirogane for GaoDeers. She is also a talented cook, which caused Rasetsu to gain an interest in her and order the Duke Orgs to capture her. As seen in Quest 42, she does have some experience in hand-to-hand fighting and was able to hold her own against Tsue Tsue.

Publication Information Kaito is the leader of the resistance held against the Orgs on the volcanic island. He held half of the ruby needed to form Gao Kong's jewel. He died while protecting Princess Iriya from Zeus Org. Kaito might be considered a loose analogue to Ransik's role in Reinforcements from the Future, at least as far as having sacrificed himself to fight the three Org Brothers, though in Ransik's case he survived the destruction of his own mutant DNA. Though the resemblance was most likely unintentional, it could be supported by the fact that the three Org brothers were originally intended to feature in "Reinforcements from the Future", until the Mut-Orgs had to be conceived as a substitute.

Publication Information Toranosuke Taiga is a champion martial artist from Kagoshima and father of Sae Taiga. A powerful man of Kagoshima, who had won championships and loves eating the local delicacy of Satsuma-age. Although a great martial artist in his own name, Toranosuke became worried when his daughter Sae asks him to go to Tokyo in order to train, believing that she would be held back by his legacy if he didn't. Though he ultimately lets Sae go, he doesn't know what to think of this decision she made.

Two years after Sae departed, Toranosuke headed to Tokyo to check on his daughter, not knowing that she had been chosen to become a Gaoranger. Although Sae prepared her apartment to meet him, she became called away by the appearance of SamuraiDoll Org, forcing her to leave the apartment to him. Arriving, Toranosuke is treated to satsuma-age and booze but decides to search for his daughter to check up on her.

Eventually seeing the Gaoranger battle, he is able to pick out GaoWhite using his style, making him realize she was Sae without ever directly meeting him. Seeing that her experiences on her own had made her a better martial artist, he returned to Kagoshima satisfied that she is continuing to proceed as a fighter and happy with her progress without revealing he knew she was now GaoWhite. After the battle with the Orgs ended, Toranosuke visits Sae at her martial arts school in Tokyo. He tries to refer to her as "GaoWhite", but she tries to tell him that she's just Sae again.

Princess Iriya is the princess of the volcanic island who was held captive by the Orgs. Her half of the ruby was taken by the Three Org Brothers and was given to Tetomu during a drinking contest with Poseidon Org.

They were chosen by Murasaki and Power Animals to protect the Earth from the polluting forces of Ogre Tribe Org. When Ultimate Org Hyakkimaru appeared, they battled it with GaoGod, but the org proved too powerful for them. The org killed GaoGod, but they survive. The sixth warrior, Shirogane, was forced to use Dark Wolf Mask to give him extra power, as he was not strong enough to combine his Power Animals into one to battle the org. Thanks to the mask, he was able to defeat Hyakkimaru using GaoHunter. However, the mask turned him into Duke Org Rouki and he was sealed away by his comrades. The remaining warriors continued to battle the orgs and eventually, died at the hands of their enemies. To pay tribute, a monument was erected in Kamuino to honor them.

Its appearance is similar to that of a small stone turtle, in comparison to the larger flying turtle-like form of the Sky Island Animarium used to protect the Power Animals. Its flight capability allows for the team to fly throughout Japan to search for other Power Animals or to respond to Org attacks. Its most notable room is a central meeting place with a spring where Tetomu resides in and takes readings that discover information regarding Org attacks, used both for seeings or to watch bubbling whenever a flux is found the team should know about. It also has smaller living rooms where the five Gaoranger reside and sleep in when not on duty. Whenever she is not needed, Tetomu generally lies dormant within the spring.

One of Gao's Rock most notable abilities is the ability to remain untraceable to the Orgs. However during Highness Duke Org Rasetsu's final scheme, he used a spawn he created and implanted into Kakeru Shishi's G-Phone to locate Gao's Rock and begin an all-out attack in order to both take it down and destroy it. After his attacks lower the headquarters and turn it upside-down to make it potentially helpless, he grows giant in order to destroy the base but is only stopped due to Tetomu sneaking back into the spring to the Animarium in order to summon the Power Animals due to the Gaoranger's own connection ruined by Rasetsu's spawn. The base is ultimately restored to a functioning capacity after Rasetsu is finally defeated. After the Orgs are finally stopped, Tetomu decides to move Gao's Rock to the moon as she goes into hibernation until the day she is needed again.
