<Having followed Yoshitaka to Japan, learning to speak in an old Japanese Edo dialect from watching jidaigeki and rakugo, Kinji is offered a chance by accepting the old man's challenge to kill one of the Ninningers within a month's time. Though Kinji failed after developing a bond with Yoshitaka's grandchildren, he is given another chance by Yoshitaka after his role in the Ninningers obtaining Lion Ha-Oh. After the final battle against Gengetsu Kibaoni, Kinji inherits Yoshitaka's oden business and starts operating it in the United States.

He transforms into the gold-colored Star Ninger by inserting a Transformation Nin Shuriken into the Ninja Star Burger which functions as a smartphone with a Yokai alert system and can also be used to summon his Otomonin. His Technique Nin Shuriken-compatible main weapon is the electric guitar-themed Star Sword Gun, which has sword and gun modes that can be used to perform the following finishing moves: Shining Rock Star, Winning Rock Star, and Lightning Rock Star.
With the Chozetsu Shobu Changer, Star Ninger can become Star Ninger Chozetsu, whose signature finishing move is the Chozetsu Star Nin Fury Slash. After the Ninja Gekiatsutou sword is added to his arsenal, Star Ninger can become Super Star Ninger, whose signature finishing moves are the Gekiatsu Winning Super Star and the Gekiatsu Lightning Super Star. With the title of Last Ninja passed onto them, the six Ninningers elected to go their separate ways and meet back in two years to recollect what they have each done. Naming himself the Last Worldwide Ninja, Kinji returned to America where, inheriting Yoshitaka's business, he opened an oden stand.

- During the events of Shinobi 27, Kyumeon used the power of the Goton Yo Shuriken to infuse Kinji with the power of a Yokai so he could stop Wolf Man. While Kinji left before the process was finished, some of the Yo-Power still remained in this body. After being scratched by Wolf Man, more Yo-Power was added due to the Yokai's ability.
